Hi! Im Josie
I’m Josie – Director of The Skin and Health Hub and a qualified Dermal Therapist with a strong clinical background and a deep passion for long term, evidence-based skin health and advanced aesthetics/lasers.
I hold an Advanced Diploma of Cosmetic Dermal Science and Laser Safety Officer Certification through AACDS, and I’m currently studying Cosmetic Chemistry to further strengthen my understanding of how skincare ingredients work at a cellular level. I’m also a Registered Aesthetics Practitioner (ARAP) with APAN and a proud member of the Australian Society of Dermal Clinicians, ensuring I stay aligned with best practice, science, and ethics in our industry.
My professional journey began in emergency healthcare, working as an EMT in the United States. It was there I developed a love for anatomy, physiology, and holistic patient care. That same curiosity and dedication to understanding the human body is what led me into the field of dermal science after experiencing my own skin concerns and feeling overwhelmed by misinformation.
Now, with several years of hands-on experience and award-winning clinic ownership, I’ve dedicated my career to helping others make sense of their skin. My approach is centered on education, customised treatment plans, and results-driven care that prioritises skin health, not quick fixes.
At The Skin and Health Hub, my mission is to create a safe, professional space where every client feels heard, supported, and empowered to achieve their skin goals with confidence and clarity.
