Jemima
Director of Aesthetics and Wellness (Registered Nurse)
Meet Jemima, our esteemed Director of Aesthetics and Wellness and Registered Nurse at The Skin and Health Hub. Jemima has called Alice Springs home for over 12 years. She earned her Bachelor of Nursing from Charles Darwin University and has since built a diverse and impressive career, working in locations from Alice Springs to the United States. Her experience spans Neonatal Intensive Care Units, Operating Rooms, Free-Standing ERs, Multi-Specialty Wards, Burn Units, and Cancer Support Services.
Jemima’s expertise extends beyond nursing; she holds an Advanced Beauty Therapy qualification and has 11 years of experience as a Beauty Therapist in Australia and the UK. Additionally, she possesses a Postgraduate Degree in Grief, Loss, and Trauma Counselling from Flinders University and a certification in Health and Wellness Coaching. She has also studied in Aesthetics with the Aesthetics and Skin Institute in Melbourne.
Beyond her commitments at The Skin and Health Hub, Jemima actively supports research in Queensland focused on wound care, IVs, and vascular access. She is also a dedicated patient advocate for individuals with complex, chronic, and rare diseases.
Passionate about improving her clients' quality of life, Jemima embodies patient advocacy and holistic care, bringing a wealth of knowledge and compassion to The Skin and Health Hub.

Josie
Director of Skin Health and Lasers
AACDS Qualified Dermal Therapist
(ARAP- Australian Registered Aesthetics Practitioner)
Meet Josie, our Director of Skin Health and Lasers at The Skin and Health Hub.
Josie started as an EMT in the United States in 2014 until 2021 when she transitioned into the field of skin and lasers. She has since accumulated a multitude of certifications from renowned institutions such as The Aesthetic and Skin Institute, Bravura Education, The Australian Dermal and Laser Institute, and The Australian Academy of Cosmetic Dermal Science. Her training stems into both skin health and laser therapies from many institutions including her Dermal Therapy Qualification from AACDS. Josie also holds a IPL/Laser Safety Certification from AACDS and is a Australian Registered Aesthetics Practitioner with APAN.
Josie is a strong advocate for ethical and holistic approaches with a passion for results based treatments and care. She individually tailors treatments to meet every clients specific needs and her mission is to empower her clients not only through their results but also through the knowledge and support she provides.
Currently Josie’s main focus is on helping to support those with skin conditions along-side the nursing staff, she leverages practitioner-only skincare brands, supplements, advanced treatments, and a wealth of skin health knowledge.
Doreen
Registered Nurse and Aesthetic Nurse
Meet Doreen!
Our Registered Nurse and Advanced Aesthetic Nurse from Melbourne. Doreen has a Masters of Nursing from the University of Melbourne.
Doreen has been in the aesthetics industry since 2016, and is extremely experienced with skin treatments, laser/IPL treatments and more.
Doreen’s passion is helping her clients to regain their confidence, to have a greater sense of satisfaction with their appearance, and to have a more positive outlook on their life.
Doreen has worked with and trained with some incredible cosmetic doctors such as Dr Amanda Ong, and Dr Tony Prochazka. Doreen is available on Sundays at The Skin and Health Hub for Aesthetic services.
Muna
Nurse and Skin/Laser Therapist
Meet Muna,
Originally from California, Muna is a skilled Registered Nurse and an experienced Skin and Laser Therapist at The Skin and Health Hub. She earned her nursing degree from West Coast University and began her career as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (Enrolled Nurse) in a Skilled Nursing Facility, where she developed a strong foundation in patient-centered care.
Muna has pursued advanced training with Bravura Education, the Body Sculpting Institute, and other industry leaders, solidifying her expertise in a range of treatments. She is passionate about helping clients achieve their goals through personalised, high-quality care.
Muna is also expanding her knowledge in the world of skin health and aesthetics, combining her commitment to holistic, patient-focused care with her enthusiasm for self-care and overall well-being. She firmly believes that how we feel about ourselves deeply influences our thoughts and actions, making self-care an essential part of life.
Sandi
Registered Nurse and Aesthetic Nurse
Meet Sandi,
One of our skilled Registered Nurses at The Skin and Health Hub. Sandi is a proud mother, grandmother, and Alice Springs local. Sandi completed her Bachelor of Nursing at Monash University. Her diverse career spans over several specialties, including Emergency, Psychiatry, Wound Care, Medical-Surgical Nursing, and Orthopedics.
Sandi’s passion lies in health and wellness, with a particular interest in intravenous infusions, dietary health, holistic care, and skin aesthetics. She has further enhanced her expertise with specialized training in Aesthetics through the Aesthetic and Skin Institute.
At The Skin and Health Hub, Sandi combines her extensive nursing background with her holistic approach to care, ensuring that every client receives personalized, compassionate, and expert support. Her dedication to aesthetics and wellness makes her an invaluable part of our team.
