Meet Jemima! She is our Director and Registered Nurse here at the Skin and Health Hub. She has lived in Alice Springs for over 12 years of her life. Jemima gained her Bachelor of Nursing at Charles Darwin University. Her Nursing career has taken her from Alice Springs to the United States. She has ranged from caring for the tiniest humans in NICU to Operating Rooms, Free Standing ER’s, Multi-Specialty Wards, Burn Units and Cancer Support Services. In addition to her commitments at SHH she supports research in QLD in wounds, IV’s and Vascular Access as well as being a patient advocate for complex, chronic and rare diseases. Jemima also has an Advanced Beauty Therapy qualification with 11 years of experience working as a Beauty Therapist within Australia and the UK prior to Registered Nursing. She also has a Post Graduate Degree in Grief Loss and Trauma Counselling from Flinders University and a qualification in Health and Wellness Coaching.

Jemima is passionate about improving her clients quality of life and patient advocacy.

Meet Josie! Josie is our Clinical Manager and our most passionate Skin and Laser Technician. She is a mother of 2 young boys. She has lived in Alice Springs for almost 10 years of her life. Josie is not your average Skin Therapist. Not only does Josie have an abundance of certifications from numerous recognised institutions in both skin and laser therapy, she is also currently completing the Advanced Diploma of Cosmetic Dermal Science with AACDS to become a fully qualified Dermal Therapist. Josie is an advocate for ethical and holistic approaches, she meticulously tailors treatments and skincare to match her clients needs and concerns. Josie's number one priority is science based and ethical treatments which she has learned through her many certifications and trainings with companies such as The Aesthetic Skin Institute, Bravura Education, The Australian Dermal and Laser Institute, The Australian Academy of Cosmetic Dermal Science, and more. 

Meet Doreen! Our registered nurse from Melbourne. Doreen has a Masters of Nursing from the University of Melbourne. Doreen has been in the cosmetics industry since 2016. And is extremely experienced with skin treatments, laser/IPL treatments and more. Doreen’s passion is helping her clients to regain their confidence, to have a greater sense of satisfaction with their appearance, and to have a more positive outlook on their life. Doreen has worked with and trained with some incredible cosmetic doctors such as Dr Amanda Ong, and Dr Tony Prochazka.
